PITTCOTE® 404 is a highly flexible, acrylic latex coating specifically designed for use with FOAMGLAS® insulation systems. It serves as a superior weather barrier, protecting insulation from environmental elements and enhancing the durability of the insulation system.

Specifications

  • Composition: Acrylic latex-based coating
  • Color: White (custom colors available upon request)
  • Density: 1.3 – 1.4 kg/L (11.25 – 11.5 lbs/gal)
  • Solids Content: Approximately 67% by weight
  • Elongation: ≥ 200% per ASTM D412
  • Service Temperature Range: -30°F to 180°F (-34°C to 82°C), with intermittent exposure up to 220°F (104°C)
  • Application Temperature: Minimum 40°F (4°C)
  • Cure Time: Touch dry in approximately 3 hours at 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity; full cure in 24 hours under the same conditions
  • Water Vapor Permeability: 0.4 perm-in per ASTM E96 (Wet Cup)
  • Flame Resistance: Combustible when cured
